Directional Drill OperatorJoin our team and earn a $2,000 new hire bonus; those with related experience earn $3,000Position SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Directional Drill Operator, who will be responsible for operating Vermeer and/or Ditch Witch directional drills.Job ResponsibilitiesPlace duct and fiber optic cable utilizing directional drilling and additional equipment, including excavators, backhoes, cable blowing and pulling equipmentComplete drilling logsMaintain a clean work site to include all equipmentInspect vehicles and equipment prior to use, including checking fluid levels and tire pressure, to ensure their safe and proper operationDrive trucks and equipment to job sitesPerform on call duties as requiredOccasional out of town work may be requiredOther duties as assignedEducation/Experience/QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent is requiredMust have a valid driver's license and be insurable- Class A CDL highly preferredAbility to operate Vermeer/Ditch Witch directional drillsExperience operating construction equipment, including backhoes, front-end loaders, air compressors, trenchers and hydraulic reel trailers is preferredAbility to read and understand construction prints, maps and plansAbility to work with limited supervision, in a safe and efficient mannerAbility to work outside in varying weather conditionsAbility to lift up to 75lbs occasionallyComprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Short and Long-Term Disability Insurance, 401k Retirement plan with Company match, generous PTO that starts accruing on your first day of employment, paid holidays, referral bonuses and more.AA/EEO Drug Testing Employer
