Mountain Area Community Services, Inc. (MACS) is currently seeking caring and compassionate applicants for the following opening within the Mills River/South Asheville area.
Job Title
Direct Care Provider – This position provides support services for a capable, well‑mannered young female with special needs and assists with community networking.
Hours and Compensation
Daytime hours, Monday–Friday, up to 20 hours per week at $20.00 per hour.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with current vehicle insurance.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to travel independently to assigned locations as needed.
- Flexibility to work according to the needs of the services and individuals.
- Previous experience preferred.
Training
MACS offers paid training such as CPR & First Aid, NCI and more.
