Island Home Care is a family run business owned and operated by husband and wife duo Chris and Brandi Rinaudo. Both have years of experience with medicine—Chris served in the US Navy and Brandi has been an RN for over 20 years. How It Works
Do you enjoy working alone in a home environment? No prior experience is required—we will train. Pick your shift! As one of the largest privately‑owned, locally‑run home‑care businesses in our area, we can offer many different shifts and locations to match your schedule.
Responsibilities
Caregivers work in the homes of clients who may need help to maintain their independence with the following tasks:
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation and/or eating
- Grooming, bathing, and/or dressing
- Hygiene
- Mobility assistance
- Medication reminders
- Companionship and conversation
- Appointments and errands

- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Ability to pass state‑required training requirements*

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Mobile cellular device (some clients require physical mobility assistance up to 50 lbs.)
- Ability to lift 10 lbs.
- Reliable transportation
