Job Summary
A manufacturing company is hiring a Dimensional QC Inspector to check parts and products for accuracy and quality. The ideal candidate will know how to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
Job Duties
- Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured components to ensure quality and specification compliance.
- Utilize precision inspection equipment, including CMMs, optical comparators, laser scanners, calipers, and micrometers.
- Interpret technical drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements to verify dimensional and manufacturing accuracy.
- Maintain detailed inspection documentation, verify Certificates of Conformance (CoCs), and identify, document, and isolate nonconforming materials.
- Work with production employees to correct quality issues.
- Keep inspection tools and records organized.
- Follow company safety and quality procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required, with technical or vocational training preferred
- Attention to detail. time management. and computer literacy (ERP or inventory software)
- Typically requires 2+ years in precision manufacturing. aerospace. or machining quality environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude. mathematical proficiency. and deep knowledge of quality standards like ISO 9001
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
