Join our community and experience Emerson College! Reporting to the Director, Enrollment Marketing, the Digital Marketing Associate leads Emerson College’s paid digital advertising strategy in support of undergraduate and graduate enrollment goals.

The Digital Marketing Associate serves as the lead for digital advertising, audience targeting, conversion optimization, and performance analytics across paid search, paid social, display, streaming, and retargeting campaigns.

The Digital Marketing Associate develops data-informed digital recruitment strategies designed to increase brand awareness, generate prospective student engagement, and drive applications and enrollment outcomes.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Develop and optimize paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, display, streaming, and retargeting platforms.
  • Manage audience targeting, segmentation, bid strategies, conversion optimization, and campaign pacing.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics including CTR, CPL, CPA, conversion rates, and enrollment funnel outcomes.
  • Develop recurring digital advertising reports and performance dashboards.
  • Conduct A/B testing for messaging, audience strategy, creative, and conversion performance.
  • Collaborate with creative and enrollment teams on digital campaign strategy and landing page optimization.
  • Partner with CRM and enrollment operations teams to support attribution tracking and lead flow optimization.
  • Stay current on digital advertising trends, platform updates, and higher education recruitment marketing strategies.
  • Serve as the primary contact for paid media vendors, agencies, and platform representatives.
  • All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field required.
  • 3–5 years of experience managing paid digital advertising campaigns required.
  • 3-5 years of experience with Google Analytics, Looker Studio, conversion tracking, and audience targeting strategies required.
  • Higher education marketing experience preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Strong knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, TikTok Ads, and analytics platforms.
  • Strong analytical and performance optimization skills.
  • Strong organizational, project coordination, and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
  • Commitment to accuracy, organization, and high-quality work.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES

Compensation: $28.25 - $34.70 hourly, commensurate with experience.
