Digital Infrastructure Practice Lead

The Role

We are seeking an experienced insurance executive to lead and continue hyperscaling our Digital Infrastructure Practice.

The Practice Lead will own underwriting, go-to-market strategy, portfolio performance, capacity relationships, hiring and global team development. The successful candidate will inherit significant market traction and submission flow, with responsibility for converting that demand into a large, profitable global portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, underwriting, growth, and profitability of the Digital Infrastructure Practice.
• Continue hyperscaling the practice by building a global team, underwriting infrastructure, and operating model required to manage increasing submission flow.
• Lead go-to-market efforts with data center operators, AI infrastructure companies, lenders, investors, brokers, insurers, and reinsurers.
• Scale products covering data center SLAs, downtime, performance, power availability, construction-related exposures, cyber, and technology E&O.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of underwriters and commercial specialists.
• Strengthen Parametrix's position as the global leader in digital infrastructure insurance. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and drive thought leadership.
• Manage broker relationships and key accounts, and represent the company at industry conferences.
• Oversee complex technical underwriting, including the assessment of digital infrastructure resilience and SLA contractual risks.
• Develop products, underwriting guidelines, and policy wordings, and conduct ongoing market research.
• Own P&L management for the entire book and coordinate reinsurance needs with our Chief Commercial Officer.
• Collaborate with Parametrix product vertical leaders to deliver multiline coverages for the Digital Infrastructure ecosystem.
• Collaborate with industry leaders to integrate SLA insurance into lender covenants and financing requirements.

Candidate Profile

• 15+ years of underwriting and insurance leadership experience spanning Commercial Property, Energy, and/or Representations & Warranties (R&W)
• Significant experience leading go-to-market strategy in property or construction insurance for data centers and digital infrastructure.
• Demonstrate deep relationships with leading brokers, carriers, reinsurers, data center operators, lenders, and infrastructure investors.
• Proven experience building and managing a large, profitable specialty insurance portfolio.
• Strong understanding of data center construction, operations, contracts, SLAs, power dependencies, and financing structures.
• Demonstrated ability to build teams, secure capacity, and convert substantial submission flow into profitable premium.
• Executive-level credibility with clients, brokers, capacity providers, and internal stakeholders.
• Provide executive leadership over complex technical underwriting, including the strategic oversight of digital infrastructure resilience and SLA contractual risk assessments.
