In this role, you will design and verify the digital logic that enables next-generation power management and analog ICs across industrial, automotive, and consumer applications.As a Digital Design Engineer, you will work across the full digital design cycle – from architecture definition and RTL design through functional verification, synthesis, timing closure, and silicon bring-up – collaborating closely with analog, systems, and product engineering teams.Responsibilities include:Define and implement digital blocks including state machines, control logic, interfaces, and embedded processor subsystems in RTLPartner with systems and analog design teams to develop and refine digital design specifications that meet performance, power, and area targetsConduct chip architecture trade-off analysis to ensure spec compliance at competitive costParticipate in design reviews and produce thorough design and product documentationSupervise IC layout of digital blocks to ensure timing, power, and signal integrity requirements are metDevelop and maintain behavioral and simulation models to support system-level analysisCharacterize silicon prototypes, develop test specifications, and coordinate with test and product engineering to drive product releaseQualificationsMinimum requirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related field1+ years of experience in digital IC design or a related rolePreferred qualifications:Proficiency in RTL design using Verilog or SystemVerilogExperience with functional verification methodologies including simulation, assertions, and coverage-driven verificationFamiliarity with synthesis and static timing analysis tools (Synopsys Design Compiler, Cadence Genus, or equivalent)Experience with low-power design techniques including clock gating, power domains, and multi-voltage designExposure to standard digital interface protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, or similar)Scripting skills for design automation (Python, Tcl, or Perl)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a disciplined approach to design verificationAbility to work collaboratively across digital, analog, test, and product engineering teamsAbout UsWhy TI?Engineer your future.
