Digital Finishing Operator

Digital OperatorDigital Operators are responsible for operating and maintaining digital press equipment to produce high-quality printed sheets, boards, or plastics, etc., based on clients' specifications.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperate and troubleshoot multiple digital pressesAccurately interpret, document, and communicate diagnostic feedback from equipment and act upon information to resolve production, maintenance and repair issuesPerform color matching of supplied materialRead and understand job tickets and complete any necessary job paperworkEffective communication skills with all levels within the organization as well as outside vendors and customersClean and maintain work areaPerform all other duties as assignedRequirements1 – 3+ years of previous digital operator experience preferredMust be able to differentiate between colors and will be required to complete a color testAll equipment operations are controlled via computer interface. Position requires the ability to navigate through multiple computer screens quickly and efficientlyComputer software application experience in a prepress environment and experience in digital color control, color manipulation, and experience operating HP and other digital equipment a plusSuccessful candidate must possess solid organizational and problem-solving skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with little or no supervisionMust be self-motivated, reliable, and quality, safety orientedFull comprehension in reading work instructions and business memosMittera is a leading-edge company that provides commercial and digital printing, finishing, graphic design, data analytics, direct mail processing, and fulfillment services.
