Job TitleUS Citizenship is REQUIRED Work is 100% ON SITE Requires periodic LOCAL travel to university partner labs (No interest in remote workers)Overview:Design, verify, integrate, and test FPGA/ASIC solutionsDevelop FPGA/ASIC architectures, coding, running simulations, synthesis, creating test benches, and preparing documentation to be reviewed by certification authorities.Specific Duties:Produce detailed design documentation, verification plans and reports.Design and development of all custom digital devices (ASIC or FPGA)ASIC or FPGA Verification to FAA Standards such as DO-254.Develop RTL using VHDL, Verilog, or SV and debug design using simulation tools.Timing closure on FPGA designs and generating test benchesEvaluate process flow e.g., synthesis, place, route, timing constraints, power useEducation and Years Requirements:BSEE or BSCE with minimum 5 years of electronic designSkills and Expertise Requirements:Validation of HW in lab using bench tools (scopes, logic analyzers) and debuggersExperience in scripting with languages such as TCL, Python, Shell scripts.Experience with Actel & Xilinx family tool flows to implement complete designs.
