As we expand across new territories, product categories and lifestyle offerings, we're seeking a communications-driven digital marketer to own how our story shows up across e-mail, web and social operations.Job Overview: Claybourne Co. is looking for a seasoned, Digital Communications Manager to join our creative team in Perris, CA.The Digital Communications Manager owns Claybourne Co's digital messaging strategy and execution across e-mail, web content and social operations - ensuring the right message reaches the right audience at the right moment.

Key responsibilities:E-mail and Lifecycle Communications (Primary Focus)Owns B2B and B2C e-mail communications including but not limited to:New product launchesMerchandise releasesTerritory launchesBrand and lifestyle newsletterOrganize, segment and maintain e-mail lists by audience, market and engagementDevelop e-mail list growth strategies and plans via all digital channelsWrite and edit e-mail copy to ensure clarity, brand voice and effectivenessBuild and manage e-mail flows:Welcome & On-boardingLaunch sequencesBack-in-stock notificationsEvent and merchandise follow-upsManage cadence, frequency and deliverability of best practicesSocial Operations & Campaign PlanningPlan and manage digital content calendars aligned with:Product launchesNew market expansionsMerchandise drops and brand momentsCoordinate messaging across e-mail, web and social channelsBrief internal designers and video teams on content needs and timelinesEnsure message consistency across all digital touchpointsProduct Launch & Market CommunicationsSupport product and market launches with clear communication plansCustomize messaging by territory and audiencePartner with sales, distribution and operations to align timing and availabilityCreate internal launch briefs to keep teams alignedWeb Content DirectionOwn messaging and content direction for:Homepage updatesProduct and collection pagesMerchandise dropsCampaign landing pagesWork with design and web teams to plan and execute updatesStrategy, Optimization & Coordination:Monitor engagement metrics and optimize messaging over timeMaintain Claybourne Co's digital voice and messaging standardsCoordinate with external agencies handling paid media and SEOEnsure brand consistency across owned digital channelsMinimum Qualifications:Communications Expertise:3-5+ years preferred in digital communications, lifecycle marketing or CRM-focused rolesProven experience owning e-mail marketing strategy and executionStrong copywriting skills with an editorial mindsetClear understanding of audience segmentation and message timingHighly organized, proactive and self-directedStrategic thinker who is also comfortable executingAbility to thrive in a fast-moving, regulated environmentOrganizational Strengths:Experience managing multiple campaigns, timelines and deliverablesComfortable working cross-functionally with creative, sales and operations teamsTools & Fluency:Hands-on experience with e-mail platforms (Klaviyo, etc.)Experience briefing designers and reviewing creative assetsFamiliarity with Web/CMS workflows (Squarespace, Shopify, etc.)Experience supporting merchandise or lifestyle brand drops is a plus but not requiredExperience managing external agencies is a plus but not requiredCPG/Apparel/Cannabis industry is a plus but not requiredSMS or text marketing experience is a plus but not requiredB2B communications experience (retail, wholesale or trade marketing), paid media, SEO strategy (not execution) is a plus but not requiredCompensation and Benefits:Pay Range: $80,000 - $90,000Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Life Insurance, Bonus ProgramSchedule: Full-time, Monday - FridayReport to: VP Marketing / Creative DirectorWork Location: Perris, CA (non-remote)Application Requirement: Along with your resume and cover letter, please include a link to your professional portfolio showcasing your best work.
