The Dietitian coordinates all phases of nutrition careincluding nutrition assessment, care planning, monitoring, education andcounseling of patients and outpatients in a variety of settings. The Dietitian contributes to the health andwellness through nutrition to individuals, families and communities.

Minimum Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics,Nutritional Sciences, Human Nutrition, or comparable major preferred and or perstate requirements




• Registered dietitian (RD) licensure or certificaterequired




• Two years’ experience in a hospital or clinic settingpreferred




• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice




• Current CPR if applicable




• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable




• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)




• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements




• Must be at least 18 years of age
