Shift Details:

• Various hours 6am-7pm

Dietitian Duties & Responsibilities:

n
• n

  The position consists of reviewing records of clients, and medications to understand their nutritional needs.

  n
n
• n

  Based on assessment, they would develop a personalised meal plan.

  n
n
• n

  They may provide individual counseling and conduct training or workshops.

  n
n
• n

  They would assist with developing structured nutrition plans and menus.

  n
n
• n

  Also, assist in supervising activities of the kitchen department.Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized nutrition care plans.

n
• n

  Provide evidence-based medical nutrition therapy for patients across various clinical settings.

  n
n
• n

  Counsel patients and families on nutrition, disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices.

  n
n
• n

  Monitor patient progress and modify nutrition interventions as appropriate.

  n
n
• n

  Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.

  n
n
• n

  Interpret laboratory values and clinical data to support nutrition recommendations.

  n
n
• n

  Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).

  n
n
• n

  Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility nutrition standards and regulations.

  n
n
• n

  Educate healthcare staff on nutrition-related best practices as needed.

  n
n
• n

  Support quality improvement and patient education initiatives.

  n
n

**Minimum Qualifications **

n
• n

  Current, valid, and unrestrictedNY license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

  n
n
• n

  Minimum of one (1) year/sof recent experience as anDietitian.

  n
n
• n

  Additional certifications may be required.

  n
n
• n

  Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

  n

• n

  Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
