Diesel Technician / MechanicWe are looking for a talented Diesel Technician / Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Dedham, MA.***$ Sign on Bonus***You will make an impact in the following ways:Complete repairs on engine products in a service shopPerform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic toolsMaintain detailed records of serviced vehiclesAdhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policiesOngoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins productsMaintain own toolsExternal Qualifications and CompetenciesIn order to be successful in this role you will need the following:Completes complex internal engine repairsPerforms engine overhauls unassistedDetailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and componentsProficient experience with engine diagnostic softwareCompensation and BenefitsBase salary rate commensurate with experience. Education, Licenses, Certifications: Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred) Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution Locally valid driving permit (Preferred) This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience: Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine productsThis position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements.
