Candidate must be able to work on various makes and models of diesel trucks and buses. We have mobile and shop positions ready to be filled with passionate team members.
The right people have strong work ethic, eager to learn, love to work as a team and passion for pleasing the customer.Requirements:Observes and listens to trucks and/or buses in operation to determine malfunctions.Complete PM's and troubleshooting issues on all operating systems on trucks and busesReads manuals, uses hand tools, power tools to perform repairs and maintenance to electrical systems, power transmissions, brakes, drivelines and other automotive systems to perform repair workRemoves and replaces parts for repair in allotted time framePerforms accurate service data entry on all services performedOperates mobile equipment as neededReceives and delivers technical advice to drivers and other operators as neededMaintains parts inventory and orders supplies as neededMay make service calls at other locations or emergency roadside repairs as neededCommunicates/directs co-workers through hand signals and two-way radioPerforms general clean-up of work areasFollows safety policies and procedures as writtenPerforms other duties as requiredMinimum Education and Experience:High School Diploma or Equivalent GED requiredMinimum 2 years Heavy Automotive Equipment Maintenance ExperienceTrade School or related mechanical / technical certification preferredCommercial Driver License (CDL) and safe driving record is a strong plusKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of repair and maintenance of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical, power transmissions, brakes, drivelines and other automotive systems to perform repair workAbility to read and write in English40 hours per week and overtime on an as needed basisBenefitsCompetitive payBest in class Training and DevelopmentOpportunities for career advancement401K BenefitReferral bonus programHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife insuranceEmployee Assistances ProgramPaid Time OffPaid holidaysState of the art facility, warm floorsTools allowancePPE and uniforms provided at no cost
