Our employees are one of our most important resources, which is why we promise to deliver.Dolese Delivers:Stable FoundationTreat with RespectSafe EnvironmentsEmployee FocusJob SummaryResponsible for ensuring quality vehicle maintenance by performing general and advanced mechanical repairs on all company equipment and vehicles in a safe, efficient, and productive manner.Key Responsibilities/Essential FunctionsAbility and skills for general and advanced repairs of all vehicles and completing all paperwork related to repair orders.Ability to repair electrical systems, hydraulic systems, brake repair and replacement as directed.Assisting with component rebuilding such as engines, transmissions, and differentials.May be responsible for welding associated with the above duties.Assisting other mechanics as needed and completing special projects for the shop supervisor.Wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE) related to task being performed as well as using all required safety equipment and procedures.Maintaining a neat and professional appearance of self and shop areas.Regular, reliable attendance at the worksite or assigned work locationOther duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as neededQualificationsExperience/Education/SkillAbility to perform all A, B, C and D mechanic services.Ability to perform all outside service interval items.Ability to perform minor repairs and complete a brake job.Ability to do minor electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.Ability to perform services and repairs with quality and in a timely manner.Ability to perform PM services.Class B CDL with air brakes (Preferred)Able to perform all tasks in a safe and timely manner.Complete understanding and operation of mixer controls.Good safety and driving recordWillingness to work nights, overtime and weekends as required.Excellent verbal, written and comprehension communication skills.Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude that fosters effective relationshipsAbility to wear a respirator and perform work.Self-motivated, organized and can work without direct supervision.Ability to work near, around or on light or heavy equipmentPhysical RequirementsLift objects of various dimensions and up to 100lbs. of weight frequentlyAbility to repeatedly climb stairs and climb laddersAbility to repeatedly balance, bend from the trunk, crawl, kneel, push and pull objectsAbility to use vibration tools repeatedlyAbility to tolerate working outdoors in all environmental temperatures and weather conditions.Ability to repeatedly reach, squat and tolerate prolonged standing / walking / sittingAbility to repeatedly walk on uneven surfacesEEO StatementWe consider applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, genetics, marital or protected veteran status.
