Diesel Technician / MechanicWe are looking for a talented Diesel Technician / Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Pittsburgh, PA.You will make an impact in the following ways:Complete repairs on engine products in a service shopPerform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic toolsMaintain detailed records of serviced vehiclesAdhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policiesOngoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins productsMaintain own toolsExternal Qualifications and CompetenciesIn order to be successful in this role you will need the following:Completes complex internal engine repairsPerforms engine overhauls unassistedDetailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and componentsProficient experience with engine diagnostic softwareCompensation and BenefitsBase salary rate commensurate with experience. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.- A current valid license is required for this role- This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations- This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical- 3 years driving experience- This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use- Federal law requires operators of commercial vehicles to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age- A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire- Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or olderAbout UsCummins is an equal opportunity employer.
