Bus Mechanic Level A/BAcademy Bus is seeking a full-time Bus Mechanic Level A/B for our Winter Garden, FL location. $2500 sign on bonus. Every Friday is pay day!
Pay rate starting from $27.00 per hour. Pay rate commensurate with candidate experience level.Shift:2nd shift3rd shiftResponsibilities: Class B Diesel Bus Mechanic or Class A Diesel Bus MechanicRepair, troubleshooting and diagnosis of modern tour busesReconditioning, preventative and routine maintenanceInspections and road testsWarranty and repair documentationDiagnosis, inspection, installation, disassembly and cleaning of components such as: brakes, suspension, tires, bearings, seals, radiators, water pumps, coolant hoses, alternators, regulators, steering components, oil/air filters, door assemblies, controls, seats, belts, electric motors, pneumatic valves, cables, and linkages.Respond to road callsBasic welding/fabricationClass B Mechanics will assist A Level Mechanics with skilled work and train/supervise C Level MechanicsClass A Mechanics will train and supervise Mechanics and Cleaners.Requirements: Diesel Bus Mechanic4-7 years of diesel engine maintenance7+ years of diesel engine maintenanceProficient in the use of diagnostic devices such as: DDEC readers, ATEC readers, SmarTire, schematics, AIC (Freon) recovery and charging equipmentProven ability to use hands tools, power tools, hydraulic jacks, welding equipment, and testing instrumentsMust have own tools according to levelValid driver's licenseBasic computer skillsCDL License with Passenger and Airbrake endorsement is a plus but not required, willingness to obtain a CDL License is also desirable.Health Insurance and Benefits Offered Include:Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription and Life insuranceSupplemental coverages401K planPaid time off and holiday payAcademy is an equal opportunity employerEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
