Job OpportunityWe are seeking experienced diesel mechanics for our repair facility in Wayne, NJ, to repair our fleet of semi-trucks, trailers, and buses. Technicians should have a minimum of 3 years of experience repairing heavy-duty trucks, trailers, or school/transit buses.Key Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on heavy-duty vehicles and trailers.Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and system diagnostics; replace and repair major internal engine components, transmission repairs, and rebuilds.Perform DOT annual inspections on medium/heavy-duty vehicles and trailers.Use computer diagnostic equipment.Conduct inspections and tests to ensure vehicles and equipment are in proper working condition.Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.Qualifications:3 - 5 years of experience working as a diesel mechanicProven experience as a diesel mechanic, with a strong understanding of diesel engine systems and components.Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Compensation: $67,000 - $79,000 annuallyBenefits include: Health 401K Paid Holidays Paid Time Off Paid Sick Days Ability to upgrade your driver's license to a commercial licenseShift: Days, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday–FridayAll successful candidates will be subjected to a pre-employment background check.How to Apply: If interested in the role, please contact Rachelle at for more details.
