Diesel MechanicAdvance Services is seeking hardworking and dependable Diesel Mechanics to join a growing team! The ideal candidate will have experience working on trucks and trailers, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced repair shop environment.
Responsibilities include performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel trucks and trailers, completing DOT inspections, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, performing preventative maintenance and routine service work, operating welding and torch equipment as needed, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, working collaboratively with team members to complete repairs in a timely manner, and accurately documenting repairs and inspections completed.Qualifications: Previous diesel mechanic or heavy equipment repair experience preferred. Knowledge of truck and trailer systems and components. Ability to complete DOT inspections. Welding and torch experience preferred. Must have own tools. CDL license is a plus, but not required.
