Ideally, candidates will work year-round.

Work will be performed primarily out of the shop, with opportunities for service calls.Requirements2-year AAS degree in Diesel Technology or combination of training and experience that provides equivalent skills, knowledge and abilitiesRegular, consistent attendance and regular overtime at all assigned job sitesValid Driver's License, preferably Class A CDLAcceptable motor vehicle recordAbility to work cooperatively with othersPhysical strength and endurance to perform all principal duties and responsibilitiesOpportunity to travel throughout Minnesota, North and South DakotaResponsibilities:Analyzes operation of systems and components of heavy equipment and diesel trucks to determine performance using engineering specifications and test equipmentInspects mechanical and electrical systems; diagnoses and repairs systems for heavy equipment and diesel trucksDisassembles systems, examines parts for defects and excessive wear on heavy equipment and diesel trucksRepairs or replaces defective parts, adjusts settings and reassembles according to specifications on all heavy equipment and diesel trucksOperates electronic testing equipment, precision instruments and gauges, hand tools, portable power tools, welding and cutting equipment and cranes and hoistsWelds and fabricates parts as neededComplies with Company Safety ProgramPerforms other tasks as neededBenefits:Group Health InsuranceVision InsuranceDental Insurance401(k) Retirement Savings Plan401 (k) Company Match401(k) Company Discretionary ContributionHealth Savings Account (HSA)Basic Life InsurancePaid Holidays (Year-round, full-time employees)Paid Time Off (Year-round, full-time employees)Tool Reimbursement for MechanicsPer Diem (When Applicable)Electronic Direct DepositCentral Specialties is an equal opportunity employer.
