We are looking for an experienced Heavy Truck/DOT/Diesel Mechanic to help keep our local fleet safe, compliant, and on the road. As a trusted regional provider of heavy-duty repair services, we work on a wide range of equipment-including RVs, school buses, commercial trailers, and heavy trucks-with a strong focus on FMCSA and DOT compliance. This position will require periodic travel.
We're seeking a self-motivated technician with 2+ years of experience, a solid understanding of DOT requirements, and hands-on expertise with engines, hydraulics, brake systems, and related heavy-duty repairs. Responsibilities
Essential Duties:
• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, school buses, and recreational vehicles in accordance with DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic components, steering systems, electrical systems, engines, transmissions, drivetrains, and braking systems in compliance with DOT/FMCSA standards.
• Inspect and evaluate equipment to determine necessary repairs.
• Assist in the parts department as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
