This position requires a technician with strong electrical and emissions systems knowledge who can accurately diagnose complex mechanical failures and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:Utilize OEM diagnostic software, scan tools, and technical resources to identify root cause failures and complete accurate repairsConduct preventative maintenance inspections and identify potential equipment concerns before failure occursDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, steering, suspension, brake, and drivetrain issuesMaintain compliance with company safety procedures, environmental regulations, and maintenance standardsPerform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on diesel engines, electronic controls, and emissions systemsAccurately document diagnostics, completed repairs, labor, and parts usageSupport shop operations by assisting and mentoring junior technicians as neededService and repair aftertreatment systems including DPF, DEF, and SCR componentsRequirements:Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical documentationMinimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a diesel technicianFamiliarity with OEM diagnostic software, electronic troubleshooting systems, and scan toolsMust provide own basic hand toolsExperience diagnosing and repairing aftertreatment systems including DPF, DEF, and SCRStrong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting backgroundValid driver's license required; CDL preferred or willingness to obtainExperience working with diesel engine platforms such as Cummins, Detroit Diesel, CAT, PACCAR, or equivalentExperience performing repairs on engines, drivetrains, brakes, steering, suspension, and related heavy-duty systems
