Diesel Mechanic
We are looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team at a well-established company. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing all vehicles and equipment as needed from rebuilding and replacing engines, engine components, transmissions, drive line and rear-ends, mechanical and electrical systems, and hydraulic components.

Responsibilities for the Diesel Mechanic:
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to all trucks and equipment as necessary.
- Work as part of a team in a collaborative environment
- Repair or replace faulty and damaged equipment, engines, transmissions, and other machine components in a timely manner.
- Work and communicate with drivers and operators regarding troubleshooting, planned maintenance and/or any issues that arise during operating hours.
- Keep up with shop procedures such as, cleaning, safety, and work environment standards.
- Adhere to any and all OSHA and DOT regulations and policies.
- Minimum 3+ years of Diesel Mechanic/Technician experience
- Degree or Certification as Diesel Mechanic /Technician or related fields
- Experienced with Cummins , Duramax , International ,and related vehicles and machine equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective listening, and problem-solving skills
- Valid Driver’s license and good driving record
- CDL License is preferred but not required.
- Related experience and knowledge of the methods, materials tools and techniques used in repairing semis, tractors & trailers.
