Pay rate commensurate with candidate experience level.ResponsibilitiesRepair, troubleshooting and diagnosis of modern tour busesReconditioning, preventative and routine maintenanceInspections and road testsWarranty and repair documentationDiagnosis, inspection, installation, disassembly and cleaning of components such as: brakes, suspension, tires, bearings, seals, radiators, water pumps, coolant hoses, alternators, regulators, steering components, oil/air filters, door assemblies, controls, seats, belts, electric motors, pneumatic valves, cables, and linkages.Respond to road callsBasic welding/fabricationClass B Mechanics will assist A Level Mechanics with skilled work and train/supervise C Level MechanicsClass A Mechanics will train and supervise Mechanics and Cleaners.Requirements4-7 years of diesel engine maintenance7+ years of diesel engine maintenanceProficient in the use of diagnostic devices such as: DDEC readers, ATEC readers, SmarTire, schematics, AIC (Freon) recovery and charging equipmentProven ability to use hands tools, power tools, hydraulic jacks, welding equipment, and testing instrumentsMust have own tools according to levelValid driver's licenseBasic computer skillsCDL License with Passenger and Airbrake endorsement is a plus but not required, willingness to obtain a CDL License is also desirable.Health Insurance and Benefits Offered IncludeMedical, Dental, Vision, Life & Prescription insuranceSupplemental coverages401K planPaid time off and holiday payAcademy is an equal opportunity employer.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
