This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work from technical drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities:Assemble dies by installing punches, plates, and inserts according to blueprints and layouts.Secure components and ensure proper alignment, spacing, and clearance for accurate cutting performance.Test completed dies for fit and function, making adjustments as needed before release to production.Perform maintenance and repairs on existing dies, replacing worn or damaged components.Maintain organized inventory of die components, tools, and completed assemblies.Follow all safety procedures related to machinery, tooling, and material handling.Collaborate with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot die-related issues and support new product launches.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Qualifications: Previous die assembly, tool and die, manufacturing, or related mechanical experience preferred. Willing to train candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Strong attention to detail and precision workmanship.
Experience using hand and power tools. Ability to lift and move die frames, tooling, and materials as required. Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.Job RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Ability to safely lift and move materials and tooling components.
