Die MakerWe are seeking a skilled Die Maker to support the build, repair, and maintenance of metal-forming dies used in a high-precision manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on problem solver with strong machining skills, excellent blueprint interpretation, and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced tool room.Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret blueprints, die models, and product prototypes to plan machining and assembly operations.Set up and operate tool room equipment—including lathes, mills, grinders, and other precision machinery—to produce components to tight tolerances.Measure, mark, scribe, and machine die components; verify accuracy using micrometers, gage blocks, dial indicators, and other precision tools.Fit, assemble, and align die components; perform hand-finishing using files, stones, and grinders.Conduct die tryouts, final adjustments, and inspections to ensure readiness for production.Troubleshoot die performance issues and execute repairs or improvements as needed.Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to support manufacturing needs.Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.RequirementsEssential:1–2 years of die making or die repair experienceHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong blueprint reading abilityProficiency with tool room machinery and ID/OD grindingSolid shop math skills (geometry, algebra, trigonometry)Experience in a manufacturing environmentPreferred:CAD skillsGD&T knowledgeISO 9000 familiarityMechanical draftingEngineering problem-solving backgroundBasic tooling design experienceCompensation & BenefitsStarting rate: ~$32.99/hrShift premium: +$1.50/hrVacation: 2 weeks within the first 6 monthsHealth, Dental, and Life Insurance401(k)Short-Term Disability (STD)Flexible Spending Account (FSA) & Health Savings Account (HSA)Paid Vacation & HolidaysPlease submit a resume for consideration.
