Die Cutter Operator (Bobst / Brausse)We are seeking an experienced Die Cutter Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Bobst and Brausse die cutting equipment to produce high-quality folding cartons in a fast-paced packaging environment.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with flatbed die cutters and a strong understanding of carton converting processes, quality standards, and production efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate Bobst and Brausse flatbed die cuttersPerform make-ready, including die installation, feeder setup, and registration adjustmentsRun a variety of carton styles and substrates with precision and efficiencyMonitor production to ensure quality, consistency, and output targets are metInspect sheets for proper cutting, creasing, and strippingTroubleshoot mechanical and production issues to minimize downtimeAdjust press settings for optimal performance and waste reductionWork closely with press and folder-gluer departments to ensure smooth workflowMaintain accurate production logs and documentationPerform routine maintenance and keep equipment clean and organizedFollow all safety procedures and company policiesRequired Qualifications2+ years of experience operating flatbed die cuttersExperience with Bobst and/or Brausse equipmentStrong understanding of die cutting processes and carton productionAbility to read and interpret job tickets, layouts, and dielinesKnowledge of substrates including paperboard and folding carton materialsMechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced production environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience in folding carton or packaging manufacturingFamiliarity with stripping, blanking, and tooling setupUnderstanding of make-ready reduction and efficiency improvementsKnowledge of quality control standards and inspection processesSkills & CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and qualityProblem-solving mindsetAbility to manage multiple jobs and deadlinesGood communication and teamwork skillsReliability and strong work ethicCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay (based on experience)Overtime opportunities available401(k) with company matchHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidays
