Die Cut Machine OperatorThe position of Die Cut Machine Operator is to run one of the three Die Cut lines, follow established procedures, and set-up. The Die Cut Operator tends to the daily operation and daily run schedule to ensure product is made with high quality and on time. Also performs minor repairs or adjustments to machine settings to ensure proper machine operating efficiency.

Monitors the quality of parts produced and reports machine malfunctions or product abnormalities immediately to lead or supervisor.Position Responsibilities:Get and read the production schedule provided by the shift lead, scheduling department, or supervisor.Accurately completes daily production record/s.Inspect the line to verify equipment safety features are functional. Reports any abnormalities to shift lead and supervisor.Produces parts according to the Manufacturing Order (MO) and Control Plan using to correct material and Die for each production run.Monitors and adjust machine settings according to written instructions to maximize machine efficiency and to ensure products meet quality specifications.Oversees helpers on their machine to ensure everyone is following control plan, established safety procedures, and ensuring material is packaged and labeled as required.Maintain a clean area at all times.Must use forklift as needed.Other duties as assigned.Nature and Scope:Works under direct supervision and follows written/verbal instructions to accomplish assigned tasks. Resolves routine questions and problems, refers complex issues to others.

Demonstrates an awareness of the relative urgency of tasks and responds accordingly.Knowledge and Skills:Ability to read and write English. Ability to communicate with supervisors and crew chiefs. Basic math to include addition, subtraction, and multiplication.

Ability to work independently. Detail oriented. Possess simple math skills.Experience:Minimum 1 year Machine Operator Experience Minimum 2 years forklift experienceEducation:High School Diploma or equivalent.Physical Requirements / Working Environment:Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations Must be able to work with and around fiberglass and insulation.
