Our award-winning office products – seating, sit/stand desks, technology support and lighting – have led the industry in performance and simplicity for over 40 years.This role will operate under Advanced Die Casting, LLC as a whole-owned subsidiary of Humanscale.ResponsibilitiesThe Die Casting Supervisor oversees daily production plan execution, scrap control, and manufacturing standards to ensure performance meets production release targets.
This role leads the work team, enforces quality and safety procedures, manages training and development, and drives continuous improvement and 5S workplace organization. Additionally, the supervisor analyzes performance data, resolves interpersonal conflicts, audits standard work, and reports equipment and production results to management. This position will oversee the work in the area.QualificationsIndustrial Engineering or related degree and/or experience.Must have at least 3 years minimum experience in die casting processes or as a manufacturing engineer, knowledge of inspection procedures and quality control.Previous supervisory experience preferred.Analytical capability.Able to adapt to change.Ability to manage human and material resources efficiently.Six Sigma Certification: Certified Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Six Sigma Green Belt.Basic knowledge of maintenance.Bilingual (Spanish/English) required.Ability to prioritize and stay organized.Capable of balancing team and individual responsibilities; able to foster a strong team environment.Drives strategic alignment across departments to achieve business goals.Customer focused; adept at managing difficult situations; strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to build credibility within an organization and with customers.Strong problem-solving skills including root cause identification and continuous improvement.Possesses/develops knowledge regarding products, procedures, and policies.
