Only 15 minutes from North Grand Rapids, this is a great long term job opportunity for someone looking to have a career in manufacturing.Die Cast Operator Responsibilities:Operates any die cast and/or trim press machine, as assigned, to cast a variety of aluminum partsVisual inspection of partsReport defects or improper operations to supervisorDiagnose and perform minor repairs to die cast, trim press machines and robot gripper systemCapable of repairing water, hot oil and minor hydraulic leaks on diesAbility to maneuver through touch screen computer on trim pressesCapable of pulling and setting slidesCompleting production paperwork accuratelySchedule & Pay:2nd shift Monday – Thursday 3:00 pm - 1:20 am, Fridays 1:00 pm - 9:20 pm as needed$19.00/HRDie Cast Operator Qualifications:Must be able to withstand a hot work environmentHS diploma or equivalent preferredKnowledge of basic math, reading and writingAble to complete defect recognition training and be able to follow quality inspection processesAbility to learn to troubleshoot and make minor adjustments/repairs to machinesMust have excellent attention to detail
