Registered Nurse (RN) – Dialysis (DIA) – Full-Time in Nashville, Tennessee at our HCA hospitals
Responsibilities
- Dialysis RNs help patients who undergo dialysis treatment, removing toxins normally excreted by the renal system.
- Nurses assess frequent blood pressure, heart rate, and other symptoms to maintain proper hemodynamics during treatment.
- Analyze vital signs and assess vascular access, and obtain patient weight to determine required fluid volume removal.
- Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures.
- Monitor the patient during dialysis and assess any emergent changes in the patient's condition.
- Administer and chart all prescribed pre-, intra- and post-dialysis medications.

Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered state nursing license.
- At least 1 year of recent dialysis RN experience (new graduates may inquire about training program details).
