Compensation Range: $45.75 - $61.76 (based on experience)

Position Summary
This is a temporary position.
- Position the chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, or ankle for x‑ray imaging.
- Operate X‑ray equipment, process images, and document results into PACS.
- Provide basic patient care under supervision of clinic nurse.
- Perform selected procedures as defined in the Patient Care Standards Manual.
- Obtain vital signs, place patients in exam rooms, obtain specimens (including blood draws if qualified), prepare patients for clinician evaluation, and assist clinician.
- Ensure area is orderly and well stocked with supplies and equipment.
- Float to Main Radiology as needed.
Education, Training & Experience
- Previous hospital, back office, or non‑emergency clinic services experience.
Desired Experience
- One year in an ambulatory care setting.
Licenses & Certifications
- Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT) (to be obtained within 6 months of hire).
- Current CPR Certification.
- Fluoroscopy Permit (to be obtained within 6 months of hire). Please note: if employee does not pass their initial exam within 6 months of hire, they will be considered to meet this minimum qualification as long as they retake the exam. The employee will have 6 months to retest and pass the exam. If they do not pass the second attempt, then employment will either be separated OR the employee will receive a reduction in pay AND will not work any cases requiring a Fluoroscopy permit.
Desired Certifications
- Current licensure issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
- Thorough knowledge of human structure & function, patient care, positioning, principles of radiographic exposure and quality assurance.
- Medical terminology knowledge.
- Self‑motivated.
- Phlebotomy skills and general knowledge of point‑of‑care laboratory equipment (desired).
- Technical competence.
- Computer software program proficiency.
- Professional interpersonal communication with physicians, staff, patients, and the public.
- Sensitivity for patients and families.
- Ability to follow instructions, work quickly & accurately in a fast‑paced environment.
