This position is a professional licensed and registered allied health care positionJOB REQUIREMENTSMinimum EducationMust have completed Accredited Radiologic Technologist ProgramMinimum Work ExperienceNo previous experienceRequired Licenses/CertificationsTexas General Medical Radiologic Technologist licenseMust have ARRT within one year of graduation of accredited programBLS - should not initiate patient contact until completed.Valid Texas Driver’s License required only for individuals identified as HMC Designated Drivers per policy. Required Skills, Knowledge, and AbilitiesMust have basic knowledge of Digital Radiologic EquipmentMust have basic understanding of PACS and RIS software.Must have basic ability to do Diagnostic Radiographs.Must be able to verbal communicate with patients and render basic patient care
