Salary: $20,000 + sign on bonus for eligible applicants. The position is an X‑ray Tech I, with the possibility to progress to X‑ray Tech II based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations using proper patient positioning, identification, and exposure techniques.
- Operate all equipment within the modality.
- Set up and adjust immobilization and radiation protective equipment and devices.
- Review and analyze patient body size, thickness, age, physical condition, and suspected pathology to guide examinations.
- Assist physicians with various procedures.
- Report equipment malfunctions and request necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Maintain related records and notations.
- Assist in Quality Assurance/Quality Control procedures as required.
- Participate in the educational training of students.
- Work in a clinical environment while complying with all organization policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (Required).
- Certification or Licensure: Basic Life Support Certification (Default Issuing Body), Certified Radiology Technologist (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – ARRT).
- Strong communication, organization, and preceptor skills.
- Competency in radiology practices and patient care.
- Ability to work evenings and maintain 36 scheduled weekly hours.
