Universal Radiology Partners of California (URPCA) is a physician-owned and operated radiology group supporting three Inland Valley hospitals with high-quality diagnostic imaging services. URPCA emphasizes patient-centered care, teamwork, and continuous improvement through advanced imaging technologies and streamlined workflows.
We are seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist to support high-volume, hospital-based diagnostic imaging services across three Inland Valley locations. This role follows a structured onsite coverage model with defined onsite responsibilities and integrated remote reading components as part of the overall coverage plan. The position is ideal for a radiologist with strong general diagnostic expertise who values consistency, collaboration with onsite clinical teams, and a balanced, sustainable coverage structure.
- Interpret X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine studies
- Deliver timely, accurate diagnostic reports
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care decisions
- Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and communication
- Participate in quality assurance and departmental meetings
- Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
- Eligible for California medical licensure
- Strong diagnostic proficiency across general imaging modalities
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Compensation
- Compensation is aligned with coverage commitment, employment classification, and annual workload expectations under an approved block scheduling model. Final compensation is determined by approved coverage level, RVU productivity expectations, and employment classification.
- Full-Time Coverage (40 Weeks / 220 Shifts per Year)
- W-2 Employment: $700,000 annually
- 1099 Independent Contractor: $725,000 annually
