Diagnostic Radiologist

This locum tenens diagnostic radiology position at an inpatient facility in California requires covering night shifts for a duration of 9-12 months starting as soon as possible. The provider will deliver on-site general diagnostic imaging interpretation services across MR, CT, ultrasound, and X-ray modalities for all age groups. No call responsibilities are associated with this role, allowing the clinician to focus entirely on inpatient and emergency room study interpretations.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site general diagnostic imaging interpretation services during night shift hours
• Cover inpatient and emergency room service lines
• Interpret studies across MR, CT, ultrasound, and X-ray modalities
• Handle an expected daily volume of 20-25 ultrasound studies and 25-30 CT/MR studies, or 150-200 X-rays
• Utilize Merge PACS for imaging workflow
• Use Nuance PowerScribe 360 for dictation in accordance with established facility protocols
