Jackson & Coker is seeking a Board Certified Radiologist for a locum tenens opportunity in California, starting as soon as credentialed. This role involves performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CTs, Ultrasounds, MRIs, and Fluoroscopy, with an emphasis on abdominal/pelvic CTs and GI studies. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with basic neuro and MSK imaging, contributing to a high-volume outpatient setting.
Practice Info
- Outpatient setting
- Licensed beds: 325
- Radiology exams: Approximately 23,000 per month
- Procedures per day: 2–3
- Reads per day: 100–120
- Support staff available
Responsibilities
- Perform Abdominal/Pelvic CTs
- Interpret imaging modalities including Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, X-ray, and MRI
- Conduct GI Studies: Barium Enema, Small Bowel Follow Through, Upper GI, Esophagram
- Perform PICC Line Placement
- Read 100–120 cases per day, including reads between procedures
- Handle a typical daily volume of 60–70 X-rays, 30–32 CTs, 12–15 Ultrasounds, 2–3 Fluoroscopy, and 3 MRIs
- Be comfortable with basic neuro and MSK imaging
