Helps
Receives and reviews requests from physicians and other health care providers for Computed Tomography examinations of patients.
Determines the condition(s) at issue and the procedures and equipment necessary to best meet the needs of the individual case.
Selects, sets up, adjusts, and operates the Computed Tomography equipment.
Extends and modifies procedure to insure full and accurate information as to findings and patient condition.
Observes and reports patient responses to instructions, movement, and touch.
Assists radiologist or physician in reading or evaluating results.
