Diagnostic Pediatric Radiologist

Northwell Health is seeking a Pediatric Fellowship-trained Radiologist to join their team at Cohen Children's Medical Center. This full-time, in-person position involves dedicated time for scholarly activities, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and participation in multidisciplinary conferences. The successful candidate will provide clinical services across various modalities for pediatric patients, contributing to the largest provider of pediatric health services in New York State.

• The Cohen Children's Medical Center (CCMC) of New York is a 202-bed tertiary pediatric hospital.
• The CCMC performs approximately 70,000 examinations a year.
• It is a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center and a Level III neonatal intensive care unit.
• The Pediatric Radiology division is a growing group of 5 dedicated pediatric radiologists.
• The facility includes two new dedicated Pediatric MR machines (1.5T and 3T), two CT scanners, two new Siemens flat panel fluoroscopy units, and 3 ultrasound suites with 24-hour Pediatric Ultrasound technologists.
• A new separate Pediatric Neuroradiology division has been established, which includes two dedicated Pediatric Neuroradiologists.

Responsibilities

• Dedicate time towards scholarly activities.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Participate in several multidisciplinary conferences.
• Provide clinical services in all aspects of Pediatric Radiology (plain film, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI).
• Provide service coverage at Cohen Children's Medical Center, North Shore University Hospital, and several community hospitals remotely.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree.
• BE/BC Diagnostic Radiology.
• Fellowship in Pediatric Radiology.
• Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in New York.
• Expertise in all areas of Pediatric Radiology (except Neuroradiology) is a must.
• Additional expertise/interest in Pediatric MSK is a plus.
