Position Summary
The CT Technologist will perform a wide range of computed tomography procedures, ensuring the highest standards of image quality, patient safety, and clinical excellence. This position requires technical expertise, patient-centered care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume imaging environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Ensure proper patient positioning, safety, and comfort during imaging procedures.
- Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to support accurate diagnoses.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to hospital and regulatory documentation standards.
- Provide excellent patient care and communicate effectively with patients and families.
- ARRT Registered Technologist in Radiography (upon hire).
- ARRT Registered Technologist in Computed Tomography (within 1 year of hire).
- Preferred: Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program (approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education & Accreditation of the AMA).
- Preferred: 5 years of experience as the primary technologist in a high-volume CT facility.
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols, safety practices, and quality control standards.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
