Diabetes EducatorLocation: Olean General Hospital Location of Job: US:NY:Olean Work Type: Per-Diem Shift 1Job DescriptionThe function of the RN is to assess patients with diabetes (adult and pediatric) for actual and/or potential problems affecting the health of the patient based on this assessment, department policy and case findings. The RN will provide education and health counseling for the patient and family/caregiver on topics related to diabetes self-management. The RN will provide resources and consultation to staff and medical providers.Education And CredentialsCompletion of an Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of Professional Nursing.
