Educations & Qualifications: Must be at least 15 years of age, provide excellent customer service, successfully work independently and as part of a team. Starting rate of pay is $11.00 an hour.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare and serve food according to company policies and procedures.
- Accurately take customer orders while providing excellent customer service.
- Ensure proper food presentation and food quality.
- Work independently or as a team at various food stations.
- Clean stockrooms, kitchen equipment, and preparation areas according to food service procedures.
- Operate a cash register and make correct change.
- Rotate and label all food for proper storage according to food service procedures.
- Operate restaurant equipment as permitted by child labor laws:
- Equipment includes POS register, pizza oven, dough roller, pizza cutter, warmers, and telephone.
- Follow all food safety procedures and guidelines when preparing and cooking food.
- Follow proper hand washing techniques.
- Use all personal protective equipment to include hat, gloves, etc. per company procedures and guidelines.
- Complete food safety training annually.
- Must work in various weather and environmental conditions including but not limited to direct or indirect sunlight, heat, humidity, rain, hail, cold, snow, and ice.
- 15-year-olds are limited to register, prepping pizzas and hoagies, and transporting food to and from buildings.
Other Responsibilities:
- Maintain and protect employee, customer, consumer, company and vendor confidentiality.
- Report to and from work at assigned time.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- Must be honest and reliable.
- Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. Provide help and support to co-workers on an ongoing basis.
- Adhere to dress code policy.
