Devsecops Software Developer/EngineerSpiral Solutions is seeking a DevSecOps Software Developer/Engineer to join our team in delivering secure, reliable, and high-quality software solutions in support of government mission objectives. Location: Greenville, TXRoles and ResponsibilitiesComply with all policies and procedures, project plans, and industry standards, to include Spiral Solutions, Federal, State, local, DoD, and co-contractors.Execute full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using the established Agile with Lean Kanban Model while incorporating Secure DevOps.Participation in Agile Team activities is mandatory. These activities include Daily Stand-up, Sprints, Regular reviews and retrospectives, and design meetings.Continuously Integrate and Continuously Deliver (CI/CD) software and associated updates, and evaluate user feedback.Write concise, resource efficient, programmatically testable code based on requirements and specifications in a timely manner.
Ensure the source code is well-ordered, optimized, and documented.Integrate necessary software components into appropriate functional software applications and functional systems.Develop and maintain software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.Document and maintain software functionality and provide periodic updates to the customer.Collaborate with SST employees and when directed by management, U.S. Government officials and co-contractors to design and implement features.Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code, and provide constructive feedback.Troubleshoot, debug, polish, and upgrade existing systems whenever needed.Create and document software tools required by other developers.Incorporate continuous education to improve skill sets, stay certified, and learn new methods to implement software.Attention to detail is essential and all tasks must be carried out to the highest standard.Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and prepare documentation of rationale to share with AIP team members and other affected parties.Work independently when required.Provide operation support as needed or when requested by the AIP Program Manager.Summary Benefits include: Medical Dental Vision Employer paid life insurance Voluntary life insurance 401K Flexible spending accounts Employee Assistance program Short- and long-term disability
