DevOps, Cloud, Infrastructure Engineer
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their DevOps, Cloud, Infrastructure Engineer position! This is a direct placement opportunity and will be onsite in MacDill AFB, FL.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, implement, and support cloud-based infrastructure solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments
- Drive adoption of DevSecOps best practices and cloud-native technologies including containers, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines
- Architect and deploy secure, compliant cloud solutions in coordination with Information Technology Security teams
- Manage and optimize container orchestration platforms including Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher, and Docker
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and other automation tools
- Support development teams by implementing and administering CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, SonarQube, Nexus, and Prisma Cloud
- Interface directly with customer personnel across multiple organizational levels to deliver technical solutions
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and perform root cause analysis to resolve systemic problems
- Generate detailed design documentation for infrastructure enhancements and modifications
- Provide 24x7 on-call support for critical systems and applications
What You'll Need to Have
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing infrastructure across both on-premise and cloud environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related technical field
- 2+ years of experience with container management technologies such as OpenShift, AKS, EKS, Rancher, or Docker
- Proven experience with Linux system administration and network operating systems
- Strong proficiency in Agile development methodologies and source code repository tools like Git or BitBucket
- Active DoD Personal Security Clearance and U.S. citizenship required due to government contract requirements
- Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles and experience deploying applications on DOD networks (NIPR, SIPR, JWICS)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively manage multiple priorities
- IAT Level 2 Certification (Security+ or equivalent) preferred
Pay Range: $120,000 - $160,000 annually
