Supporting a growing client in the government technology and cloud services industry, the fully remote DevOps Tech Lead will define the technical vision for Platform Services, architect Kubernetes-based deployment systems, and lead initiatives focused on automation and operational excellence. Key responsibilities Define and drive the technical vision for Platform Services supporting FedRAMP High and IL5 environments Architect and maintain Kubernetes-based deployment systems utilizing Argo CD and GitOps methodologies Lead platform engineering initiatives focused on reliability, automation, observability, and operational excellence Required qualifications 8+ years of experience in SRE, platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, distributed systems, or cloud operations Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and large-scale deployment platforms Strong experience implementing and supporting Argo CD, GitOps workflows, and CI/CD automation Prior object-oriented programming experience (Java, C#, Python, Go, or similar) Experience supporting FedRAMP High, IL5, or other highly regulated cloud environments is highly preferred
