Location: Austin, TX (onsite) Job Type: Full-Time Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 a year

We are looking for an experienced DevOps SRE professional to design, develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and automation tooling in a multi-cloud environment spanning AWS and GCP. The role will work closely with Platform Engineering, software development, and application teams to enable high-quality software delivery, maintain GitOps-driven deployments, and improve service reliability. The ideal candidate should have strong software development skills and hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, container orchestration, and GitOps workflows.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and container-based workloads.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Helm.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, OpenTofu, or similar.
• Experience with GitOps tooling — ArgoCD or FluxCD required.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as: Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, Bash.
• Understanding of software design principles, software architecture, APIs, and automated testing.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
• Strong experience with AWS; GCP experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with declarative or domain-specific configuration languages such as Pkl.
• Hands-on experience with FluxCD for managing multi-cluster GitOps deployments.
• Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Experience with managed Kubernetes platforms such as EKS and GKE.
• Experience developing internal tools, services, integrations, or platform automation.
• Prior experience working on platform or shared-services engineering teams supporting multiple application teams.
• Exposure to multi-cloud infrastructure patterns.
