DevOps Software EngineerLeidos is looking for our next TS/SCI-cleared DevOps Software Engineer to join a high-energy team building and deploying a cutting-edge technology stack in support of the DIA-NMEC (National Media Exploitation Center) DOMEX Technology Platform (DTP). This role is part of a 10-year program supporting the DOMEX Data Discovery Platform (D3P) Modernization effort, where you'll contribute to mission-critical capabilities alongside a collaborative, innovative, and growth-oriented team.While the majority of work is performed on-site at our customer location in Bethesda, MD, we offer a flexible schedule and occasional opportunities for remote work.What You'll DoAs a DevOps Software Engineer, you'll help design, deploy, and maintain a full-stack, containerized microservices architecture. You'll also support systems administration, installation, configuration, and the broader adoption of DevOps best practices across cross-functional engineering teams.

In this fast-paced environment, you'll collaborate closely with systems engineering, architecture, development, security, operations, and integration teams.You will work with a multidisciplinary group of developers, integrators, and system administrators to:Deploy, triage, and maintain a production big-data pipeline built on Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, and KafkaEnhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation to accelerate development and improve reliabilityDesign and support scalable, redundant infrastructure across physical and virtual environmentsUse Helm to configure Kubernetes deployments for new features and evolving requirementsPartner with Systems Engineers to architect solutions for new capabilitiesContribute technical input to engineering documentation, diagrams, and modelsParticipate in Agile release planning, scrums, design sessions, bug triage, and related team activitiesWhat You BringYou're enthusiastic, collaborative, and comfortable working with teammates across a range of technical backgrounds. You also meet the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) with 8+ years of relevant experience; 6+ years with a Master'sActive TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI with PolygraphStrong Linux proficiencyHands-on experience with containers and KubernetesExperience with CI/CD orchestration and GitLabFamiliarity with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and KibanaDemonstrated success working in cross-functional engineering environmentsBonus PointsYou'll stand out even more if you bring:Experience operating systems at scaleKnowledge of Agile methodologiesDevelopment experience (Bash, PowerShell, SALT, Python, Groovy, Java, etc.)Experience supporting enterprise or production systemsFamiliarity with:Kafka or other messaging systems (AMQP, JMS)Kubernetes monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)GPU-based KubernetesSALT for deployment automationHelm / HelmfileNexus
