As DevOps Manager, you will lead the DevOps team in building and maintaining the infrastructure, automation, and deployment pipelines that support reliable, scalable software delivery. You will balance hands-on technical leadership with people management responsibilities — growing a high-performing team while ensuring the platform meets the availability and security demands of our public safety customers.
Essential Functions
- Manage and mentor a team of DevOps and platform engineers, conducting regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development conversations
- Define and drive the team's roadmap for infrastructure, CI/CD, and platform capabilities
- Oversee cloud infrastructure operations on AWS and/or Azure, ensuring reliability, security, and cost efficiency
- Establish and improve site reliability practices including on-call rotations, incident management, and post-mortems
- Partner with engineering managers and architects to align platform capabilities with product delivery needs
- Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual toil and improve deployment frequency and stability
- Manage vendor relationships and cloud spend optimization strategies
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements across infrastructure and deployment pipelines

- Strong hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Experience building and leading high-performing technical teams
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools, observability platforms, and infrastructure automation
- Knowledge of security best practices, compliance frameworks, and cloud governance
- Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills
