DevOps EngineerOne of our key clients has an immediate full-time need for DevOps Engineers to work at their Fairfax, VA headquarters. Must have a minimum of a Top Secret with SCI Eligibility Required, CI Poly preferred (would sit for a CI Poly while you work if not currently possessed).Work in a fast paced environment to assist in migration and deployment of applications in an on-prem cloud infrastructure. Provide assistance to application developers creating deployments, standing up common services and recommending solutions for maximizing efficient use of hardware resources.
Be familiar with and have experience with the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) tools and software.Technical Requirements:Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, containerd, etc.)Experience with application deployment using CI/CD (GitLab, Jenkins, etc.)Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)Experience with storage provisioning (OpenEBS, Gluster, etc.), along with data backup and restoreExperience with Linux (CentOS desired)Experience with several programming languages (dynamic and compiled)Experience with building automation tools for repetitive tasksExperience with metrics (Elastic, etc.)Desired Skills:Microservices architecture and designExperience working in a collaborative, agile environment that supports rapidly changing requirementsEducation:BS in Computer Science or equivalent
