This role requires strong Linux and Windows system administration skills along with experience in automation, operational compliance, and audit support. The position works closely with engineering, operations, and security teams to maintain and improve critical infrastructure systems and operational processes.Position requires employee to be physically located in the Austin Texas metro for hybrid working schedule. No relocation is available for this position at this time.Responsibilities:Administering and supporting Linux and Windows systemsPerforming system maintenance, patching, upgrades, and troubleshootingSupporting internal and external audit activities, including evidence collection and remediation trackingMaintaining infrastructure and operational documentationDeveloping and maintaining automation using AnsibleWorking with Git-based workflows and configuration managementSupporting operational security and compliance initiativesAssisting with infrastructure modernization and process improvement effortsPreferred Experience:Ansible and GitBash, PowerShell, or Python scriptingVirtualization platforms such as VMware or ProxmoxBackup and recovery platformsCompliance and audit processesMonitoring and infrastructure management toolsIdeal Candidate:Organized, detail-oriented, technically strong, and comfortable balancing hands-on operational responsibilities with compliance and process requirements.
